Hi I was wondering if anyone could please help with my query I am trying to help a friend trace info on his grandfather Percy  decd & family
This is all the info he  has as follows :-
 Florence  Hyde (don't know if this is her maiden name or another married name) b 1872 Grantham  Linconshire.
Sons of Florence :-
Percy Hyde b 1901 Ashton under Lyne.
William John Hill (Hyde) b 1909  Town?
Husband  John Hill b 1871 Henilsford  Staffs,

On the 1911 census it shows the above plus lodgers  it also states they hadc3 children born 3 still living ( now decd) 0 died

We have no knowledge of a 3rd child.

Any info on the above would be greatly appreciated,  thank you so much.

1881/1891 Census has a Florence E Elston born c 1872/3 Grantham

Her Bapt is on FreeREG 1878 To William John/Mary Alice Elston.
Father a Wheelwright

FreeBMD has a Marriage Reg 1892 Lincs, with Frederick William Whatmough/
Florence Elizabeth Elston on same page.

1901 Fred is at home with his Parents, Married*, with 2 children Olive/Ivy.

Several trees on Ancestry have the family prior to separating from F W Whatmough.

Her parents were William John Elston, b 1850 in Brigg, and Mary Alice Cloxton, b 1852 in Grantham.

They include a photo of daughter, Ivy, 16th May 1896 in Gainsborough - 19th June 1950 in Toronto, Canada, wife of William Lang.

William, 22, a wheelwright of Spittlegate, son of James Elston, shoemaker.
Mary, 19, of Spittlegate, daughter of John Cloxton, maltster.
Witnesses, Mary Walker and J Cloxton.

Mary was baptised on 4th September 1853 in Spittlegate, daughter of John and Elizabeth, nee Skerritt.

John Cloxton, 25, married Elizabeth Skerritt, 27, on 24th March 1851 in Spittlegate
John son of William? and Elizabeth daughter of Samuel.
Witnesses: Samuel and Mary Skerritt.
