HI Everyone
   I am looking for the birth of Vera Doreen Le Gallic the daughter of the above Charles H. Le GALLIC who was married to LILA E. LORD in 1904 Port Broughton South Australia.

Apparently Charles married a second time to a Sarah while Lila was still alive!

I'm hoping to find the children/child of the first marriage though.

Vera Doreen Le Gallic married Hubert Francis WHEELER in Sydney in 1922.  I don't have that marriage certificate as yet though.  Any help very much appreciated.  Kind regards Dianna

The Australia, Birth Index, 1788-1922 has her down as Vera 'Dorien' Le Gallic born 4th October 1905 in Port Broughton. Father is Charles Le Gallic and mother is Lila 'Ford'.

Hi maddy52 WOW that newspaper clipping is amazing thank you so much.  I think I've found about 4/5 marriages and divorces for this lady.  LOL Lila Evelyn LORD.  She ( I think) eventually and finally married NILA HOLGA NILSSON in 1952 in Sydney.

I found a death for LILA NILSSON in 1971.  Will be very interesting to see that death certificate.  I don't think there will be enough room on it to list the husbands.  Incredible many thanks Dianna

It is a great story! Looking for some confirmation of a trip to NZ, can't readily see any of them on a passenger list, though there is a mention of a Mrs Le GALLIC arriving 28 April 1908 in NZ on the Ulimaroa from Melbourne.

Looking for a death notice - can only find a funeral notice so far:

"NILSSON. - The relatives and friends of the late Mrs LILA EVELYN NILSSON, of 50 Governess Drive, Lapstone, and formerly of Baulkham Hills, are kindly invited to attend her funeral, to leave our funeral home, Station Street, Penrith, this day (Wednesday) after service commencing at 2 p.m. for the Australian Memorial Park, Rouse Hill."

Yes, found it now, on the same page as the funeral notice, don't know why I couldn't see it before.

I notice in the NSW marriage registration their marriage (26 Feb 1952) is noted with her names as either Lila Evelyn LORD or SKENE (902/1952)
