Hi maddys52 I have never in my life seen anything like this.  Truly amazing.  I really don't know which marriage certificate to purchase!!  LOL  I will do some more investigating tomorrow.  This Lila Evelyn Lord apparently came from Tasmania so I will investigate that tomorrow and possible the "French" connection with the LE GALLIC family of South Australia.  Regards and thanks for your input Dianna

Hi thanks for that. My next step I think will be to find the origins of the father of Charles Harold Le GALLIC. 

Joseph M Le GALLIC b 1852/3-1920 was supposedly from France. He died 14th June 1920 in Somophore in South Australia, so hopefully his death certificate will have his birth place which will be very helpful.

I tried looking for a transcription agent in South Australia but I wasn't successful so will have to order directly from the BDM I think.  I saw $60.00 (didn't like that very much LOL)

Here are some snips about Charles H. Le Gallic

He and wife Sarah arrived from Newcastle to Port Adelaide in 1917.

In 1923 he was committed to a Mental Facility at Parkside.
In 1925 he was failing to comply with a meaintenance order for his child Ruth.
