The only information I have is that William Batson and Elizabeth Silvester were married on the 17th July 1843 at Bungonia, their first child was William Batson Jnr born 19.11.1843 at Lake George. A daughter Ann Batson was born 14.10.1850 at Gundaroo, she died on 26/5/1902 at Peak Hill, where her Mother Ann Batson also appears to have died.   There were other children, we note there is a son James Batson born 1864, but that information is only provided by other persons on Ancestry.

…. but do you still feel that Thomas Silvester is her father who arrived 1807.

I did not indicate who the father was.
I have given you information about 2 possible Thomas Silvesters. There may be others.
On Elizabeth’s death index at NSW BMD, her father is recorded as Thomas.
You really need more information in the hope it will help you to move forward.

New South Wales Police Gazette and Weekly Record of Crime   16 Jan 1863   p 13

....BATSON or KELLY........

Ancestry Gaol Description and Entrance Books 1818-1930 Goulburn Gaol
https://www.ancestry.com.au/discoveryui-content/view/335246:1783?   (at 1871)
BADSON William   68y  b. Norwich   arr. Adrianne  1830,   occupation groom
..right leg off from below the knee joint.......

https://www.ancestry.com.au/discoveryui-content/view/372626:1783?     (Aug 13 1871)
...William BADSON....transit Yass  to Benevolent Asylum ...to Liverpool B(evolent) A(sylum)....

I do not think that your William BATSON is the 1895 death, Milton.

The death certificate for Elizabeth BATSON, 1897, Peak Hill, would be useful for you. From online trees, Elizabeth has a married daughter at Peak Hill which would encourage you to hope that daughter has good imput to the death certificate and reliable information.

This birth Certificate -
BATSON Emily J  J11580/1858
parents William / Elizabeth      @ Queanbeyan

would be useful to you because civil registration started in NSW in 1856 and recorded good information about parents eg age, birthplace, previous issue born to the couple.

You do not need a record for every BDM event, but you need something to further your research.

Have found some information on deaths of children of William and Elizabeth Batson, two children died very young, 14 and 11, their death certificates show the Mother's maiden name as Hill.

So now I've got to find her Father, can't be Silvester now !

"Have found some information on deaths of children of William and Elizabeth Batson, two children died very young, 14 and 11, their death certificates show the Mother's maiden name as Hill."

Can you expand this please.

What names for the children? Where and when did they die?

How have you come by this information?
