Spencer Family-1921

Alfred William Spencer married Annie Edmonds 1905 Guilford, Surrey. They had three sons- Alfred George(1907),Leonard William(1909) and Albert John(1911). In 1911 they were living in Colchester, Essex. Shortly after the 1911 census Alfred William died and after that I do not know what happened to the family unit. I have managed to trace Alfred George and Albert John but can find no trace of Annie or Leonard William.
Is it permissible to check if the family are still together in 1921?
