My surgery doesn't "do" boosters, they say, when as my 75th birthday approaching next month early, I asked them about that one - no interest or idea, "ring 119"  is their best offer. Will I do better pursuing the over 75 line, or the over 65 booster, I wonder?

If you use the link I gave earlier you will be told if you currently ‘qualify’ for a booster. All you need to enter is your NHS number and date of birth.

My surgery does not do boosters either and we are normally offered appointments at a Medical practice 7 miles away which is virtually impossible to reach from here unless you have transport.  Last booster we phoned 119 and asked for one in our town centre hall which is 10 minutes walk away and got one, will be doing the same this time.

There are no clinics currently on offer where we live so rather than wait we’re going over to Consett which is about 20 miles away  :-X

Nothing here either until next week and GP doesn't do them.  I think it's either booking for a local chemist or seeing if more walk-ins come online.

I just called 119.  The recorded message spoke of high volume demand, with current waiting time of 20 minutes.

We must be the lucky ones then, Oct. 4th, flu and covid at the same time, turn up at our little surgery at the time for our alphabet surname, say hello to Sarah, tick the boxes, down the corridor, jabbed, out.

Takes about three minutes, and I am given to believe it is very lucrative for the surgery.

From 18 September, the NHS will start to invite people in priority order of risk and those eligible will be able to book an appointment on the National Booking Service.

I shall wait patiently  :).

We got a text from our surgery last week. They have clinics in October for flu and flu/covid.
We are booked in for flu and OH for covid 2 weeks later - that will be the end of October which seems quite late.
