Annie Edmonds Spencer

Annie was born 25 Jan 1875 Wonersh and married Alfred William Spencer 1905 Guilford. In 1911 the family is living in Colchester. Alfred William dies 1911 Colchester and by 1939 Annie shows up in Hove as a domestic house keeper. I am struggling to find credible death for her.
Annie had a son Leonard William Spencer who was born 1 Jan 1909 Colchester. He appears to have immigrated to South Africa in 1931 and married 1938 to Mary Dorothy Williams in Johannesburg.

Confusing header - you are looking for a death for Annie Spencer - not Edmonds

Any possibility she followed her son to SA?

Not that I have seen. She had two other sons living in Wiltshire and Glouchestershire. I checked those areas along with Surrey, Essex and Sussex.

Albert John Spencer born 1911 Colchester was given up for adoption

Ref: 1921 census he is with Thomas and Lucy Pollard.
