Hello All,
Researching a distant relative I came across one of his aunts. Bartonia E Haughton born 1830 and living in Windsor in 1891 as a widow.
With such an unusual first name I expected to find more information but there is nothing. She was born in England so where are the earlier census results and her marriage to ....Haughton?

Yes to all. The general is her grandson and the marraige is correct so there was a mistake with the name on the census

Did you check for a death for her?  On freebmd in 1913 as Barbara E

I have no record for her death.

It's on freebmd - she died in Sussex.  You should be able to find her on the 1911 census in Sussex
