Family search. John 1834 and Mathew 1836 with parents Arthur Hughes and Rose Flin. I've read these records and even if i could find them again I've not mastered the knack of sending on. Sorry. But both records do exist.

Yes, that's him. Thanks. So he obviously died between then and 1841 and his brother John.
Maybe they died then Arthur and Rose moved to England. As I have Hughes dna matches on the Liverpool area I'd guess they had family there. Well, there was his sister Margaret but I reckon he had brothers there too.
Onwards and upwards

the 24th notation is beside the sponsors for the Huges/Flinn baptism  I think 24th may be correct

11th for the one before, Lamb/Smyth, and 16 for the one after Kelly/McCarden?

Hi, I'm going to conclude that these wee boys died. Now, is could be coincidence, someone found an Arthur, born dundalk 1819, parents John (john born 1834 son of Arthur and Rose) and Rose Clarke. I think it was the marriage of Patrick carolan and mgt Hughes had a male witness Clarke. However,  if this is the Arthur born 1819 he'd have been 14 in 1833 ?????? So, surely not!!
