William and Grace BEATTIE only appear in the 1919 NZ Electoral Rolls, after that nothing.

They are at the New Commercial Hotel in Lambton Quay, Wellington. He is a grocer and she is married.

Grace and Thomas FATCHEN show up in the electoral rolls for Dunedin, Otago in 1905-6 and 1908. There is a Thomas in Wellington in 1908 and 1911, but no Grace. Thomas then next appears in 1922 in Auckland with second wife, and son Claude.

Hi wivenhoe.  I saw these records for the use of the Thomas surname on the tassie data base.  Must have been an error or mistranscribed.

That is great the finding of the 1919 NZ Electoral Rolls, maybe they emigrated.  Thank you.

So it looks like Grace and Thomas were in Dunedin from 1905.  Interesting.  I think the mum may have been there too!  Jane Lillian LORD.  Then they could have all come to Sydney possibly.  Will keep looking and thanks so much for the information.  Really helps track their movements.  Regards Dianna

Family search has the surname THOMAS for two of the births.  The marriage is correct for Grace and Percy Thomas FATCHEN on the record

Yes wivenhoe.  I do have a death now for LILLIAN LORD. 

It will be interesting to see her death certificate, hopefully her birth place will be given.
