George Lurtin, Warrington.
« on: Monday 14 August 23 15:57 BST (UK) »
Could someone please look up George Lurtin in the 1841 census, a confectioner/shop keeper who I believe had a business in Bridge Street Warrington possibly at No48?, he married Ann Hodgkinson in 1833, if possible I would like to know if he had any children.
Thanks Alan.

You can search for any births on the GRO website using both their surnames.

Lurtin sounds quite an unusual one to look for.

The Staffordshire Advertiser, 13 Feb 1846 and 14 Feb 18479 lists many hundreds of names of persons associated with the "Manchester and Liverpool District Banking Company"
Among those named -
George John Lurtin, Warrington, Ironmonger

Note- the 1847 entry states "deceased"
