1-6 Castle Street, Bray

Hi Rootschatters

My 2 x great-uncle James Letmon was a cigar and tobacco dealer based within 1-6 Castle Street, Bray, from around the 1860's to his death in 1891 (he appears on numerous street directories from this period).

I've attached a copy of a notice of property auction which appeared in a Dublin newspaper after James' death in 1891, which lists the sale of a package of his properties; from 1-6 Castle Street, and I've been trying, without success, to get pictures of this block of houses/shops from the late 1800's - finding his actual shop would be amazing, but maybe a bit too ambitious! 

In fact, any old pictures at all of this location would be fantastic - does anyone know where I might find any?  Also, does this block of properties still exist? I can't find any recent pictures of the block either on Google Street view or elsewhere....

All suggestions welcome!

The Irish Times, 19 Sep 1867, carries an advert where James Letmon of Castle Street is selling Nos 6 and 7 Eglinton Street, Bray.
