You know that they married in Cavan, you are looking at the marriage certificate, which has....no name for mother....or indecipherable name for mother?

Have you located baptism records for  KEIRNAN-MAGUIRE children born in Ireland?.

Godparents might lead you to other MAGUIREs and KEIRNANs.

WOW, thank you so much, what you great people have been able to find is amazing, more than i could have wished for.
The reason i have been been trying to find the fathers name of Elizabeth Maguire (born abt 1853) is because i have been trying to follow some Maguire DNA matches i have and by building trees around as many matches i can find( i have a lot of small ones and a good number of higher ones) but once i get back into ireland, mostley the Cavan area it becomes very hard to follow, this i very much a work in progres  and hard work but i have a small number of Maguires that i think are sibblings including Elizabeth Maguire that married Philip Keirnan, John Maguire born abt 1847 and married a Mary (last name unknown, Daniel Maguire born abt 1849 married a susan brady and an Anne Maguire born about 1852 married  john Keenan, they may be sibblings or at the very least cousins, the name Michael Maguire has come up as a possible relation ,ie as a sugestion by someone else, if i can link more of my DNA matches back to a common parent or couple then i can build my main test tree down to modern day and find the answer to my brick wall, who was the father ofmy own grandfather, for sure he is related to the Maguires from Cavan.
