Michael Sheehan born c1899 Eire possibly Kinsale, Cork
« on: Wednesday 16 August 23 12:25 BST (UK) »
The above may have died in the USA at the age of 103! His obituary is in the The Kansas City Star, Kansas City, Missouri · Thursday, January 23, 1902 Newspapers.com It says that he came to the USA in his middle years. I'm hoping that he is my missing 2x gt uncle who married Ellen Ellenora or Helena Driscoll in 28 Nov 1818 Bandon, Cork. They went to Greenwich, London sometime after and had 9 children between 1820-1837 but I can't find most of them including him and Ellen after 1837 so possibly they could have emigrated?
Cr
ps I think there is a previous post on here about the whole family.

I take it you meant 1799 for his birth?

According to that obit you mentioned, he and his wife only had one child, named Margaret.

May have found Owen on 1861 census in Southwark. Name spelt Sheen.

Thank you Kloumann, looks like he married Mary Ann Ebdon 27 May 1860, she had 2 daughters before she married him.

Thank you for the 1880 Census for Mike Sheehan, sorry I overlooked this when replying before. So we've reached another dead end?
Can't believe that a whole family of 11 people can go missing?
