Shown as a widow in 1939

1927 marriage in Monmouth - Florence Potter to Thomas W Jones but there seems to be children born to that marriage in Monmouth whereas Florence would have been 61 in 1927

I'm probably clutching at straws here.

In 1921 Florence was a visitor to an address in Wanstead. (So possibly London based at the time)

A 1918 electoral register has a Florence May Jones and David Jones at 4 Powis Lodge, Vicarage Park

As said she is a widow by 1921.

Could she have married in the Channel Islands?  Wonder why she dropped her middle name of May?

I see in 1910 she is listed as a teacher
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bryn_Mawr,_Pennsylvania

Bettws-y-Coed was apparently originally a private house, although it is now part of the college:

Probably H. H. Collins here in Bryn Mawr in 1910, aka Henry Hill Collins.

No obvious link to England but he did travel, so perhaps Florence met the Collins family in Europe. https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:QVJG-BKCP
