Searching for the family of Thomas Cooper & Elizabeth Wright who married 30 May 1757 in Beoley.


Worcestershire: Cooper, Hillman, Vaynes/Vanes/Vaines, Wood, George.
Cheshire: Rowland, Wood, Edmunds, Roberts, Vaughan, Brown, Prichard, Tushingham.

Hi,

fhs-online.co.uk is a pay to view site which has the Worcestershire Baptism Index on it.  Transcriptions only - no images.  Open access to the search results however gives 8 names of children baptised and 3 names of those buried.

There are images of Bishop's Transcripts on Ancestry.  A quick check indicates that there was more than one COOPER family, so take care.

You say you want family but is that their children or their parents?
The witnesses were William Powkes and William Townsend
Their children Mary 24 Dec 1757 , Ann 28 Oct 1759,,Sussannah 26.12.1766 ,Elizabeth 9.10.1770, John baptised 5th April 1774
The parish of Beoley is a bit of  a struggle because although the records are supposed to be on Ancestry there are a lot of gaps and not in order.

Other children
Elizabeth 23.1.1714/5 ,Sister ? 19.12.1716 Older brothers John 26 Dec 1718 ,Thomas 12.4.1721 -2.12.1729
Thomas parents were John and Mary Cooper

Mary buried 7.8.1763
John buried 26 Dec 1765 with a Will 16.4.1766 at the Hive Worcester
John and Mary married at Wootten Wawen 6 April 1714
John of Beoley and Mary Bayliss of this parish

Mary d of Robert and Hannah Wright bapt 8th July 1739
Robert Wright Admin with Will 15 Feb 1777 The Hive Worcester burial 12 Feb 1772 ?
Robert buried 27 March 1742 perhaps a son
Robert married Hannah Lowe 20 Nov 1733 at Coughton but both of Tanworth by certificate.
Elizabeth Wright baptised Tanworth 6 Jan 1734 would fit for your Elizabeth

Thank you both for that very helpful information.
I inherited papers and letters written in 1844 with the names of four Cooper children without any dates except for Mary who is my ancestor. I have been unable to find any evidence of her siblings so am extremely grateful to have something to follow up.
