There's an Edith Noon b Ontario c1883 on the 1891 Canadian census - she seems to be on her own! maybe she came over later than her mother?

Firstly, Comberton, that was a great bit of research, well done Mabel for additional info. A real picture like a jigsaw is emerging. Would like to add:

Marriage sq 1931 on same listing is a David Lambert to an Elizabeth A Bower in Keithley. They appear together in 1939. Redacted underneath I suspect is a daughter born 1936.

Added: marriage image on Ances*

Also in the household is Frederick Bower dob 5th Aug 1880 with the occ Commision "Wool Comber" as per his occ at marriage in 1906 and 1911/1921 census.

With the great research we appear now to know who Edith is/was, the challenge now is to find what happened to her after 1939 war register.

John

Think that's a coincidence, espcially as Frederick and Edith are together in 1939

Is it the marriage of Frederick J Wise and Ivy M Toomey in Bromley you're looking at? If so, they appear to be together on 1939. Frederick b 1901
