You need to check that death using GRO online as he was still in Staffs in 1861 & alive & living in Staffs in 1871

So after more digging, i found 3 of the children from Stoke 1841. Sophia was widowed by 1871 when she married a BAILEY. Bingo

Wasn't  Bailey her mothers maiden name as well?

I really don't think Bingo is appropriate here     Where are you getting the info from?  Your own research or somebody else's tree?

Sophia Pitt married Noah Bailey 1871.  If she was a widow - where is the marriage between Sophia Ellis & Mr Pitt??

Sophia Ellis was b 1832 & still with parents in 1851.  Look at the 1854 marriage on freebmd to William Harrington

What date do they have for Henry's baptism, as there's also this one in 1827 on Ancestry, with Henry baptised in 1833. Presume this is the  younger Robert  on the 1851 census
