Do you have a name/ date of death for this obituary ?

Wishaw Press is in the British Newspaper Archive for 1972, but unless you provide some detail no one can look to see if an obituary may be there.

think she was born 1908 glasgow as yet cant confirm it

You'd need to buy some credits for Scotlands People

Find and purchase her marriage register entry to  James Begley which will give you her parents' names
There is a very likely entry in 1935, Provan


Then, armed with that info find and purchase her birth registration
