Poor Gran! I have no photos of her when she was younger and this one of her and my Dad is beginning to look broken.

I was told she was a generous, warm person and this seems to bring that aspect of her alive!

I never knew her and she had a terribly hard life - a worker all her life in a cotton mill in Lancashire - widowed at 45 and my Dad fatherless at 14.
