All County tyrones catholic records
« on: Monday 21 August 23 15:57 BST (UK) »
Hey I'm picking up on a bit of research my aunt done quite a while ago. She informed me that she was sent to a Catholic Chapel in dromore, as that's where all catholic parish records went. She remembers being there but can't remember the name of the place. She also got what she was looking for. I'm wondering would anyone know the name of the chapel

Thanks

Thank you. I'll give them a shout. Do.you know if all dioceses work like this. Or does each parish hold their own records

There can be more than one set of records for a parish if there’s more than one chapel in it. In the vast majority of Irish parishes, the records are on-line free now, on the nli site:

Thanks elwyn. I'm currently after ones from 1940 onwards but no where I'm looking have them.
