It appears to be Gofer-glas - see this entry on the historic place names register. On the map you can see the adjoining properties from the census - Cwm Howell/Hywel and Waun-Wen

tyfu/r might mean 'the elder' in this context

* elder = senior, etc. I see there was  a younger son named David.
