Hello,I hope someone can help me,I am trying to find the gravesite of my 3 great uncles,they were all brothers who were born and died in Leicester,I am trying to find the cemetery or cemeteries they are laid to rest in.
    Reginald George Henry wells 24/2/1909--September 1975
     Leslie Joshua wells 1907--1956
    Cyril Alfred wells 1905--June 1969

Are you certain the 1969 & 1975 deaths were burials  & not cremations?

Have you contacted any of the cemetaries in the locality of their last known addresses

Leslie was living at 76 Lansdowne Grove, South Wigston when he died.  Have you located the grave for his wife Ethel Maria Wells

Looks as though Cyril was also in South Wigston.  Have you found the grave of his wife Evelyn Gladys Wells who died in 1968

Hello,both the 1969 & 1975 death dates tally with ancestry and family search,yes I have contacted the cemeteries that were close to them when they both passed away,neither responded unfortunately,I have tried on find a grave but they say that only a percentage of the gravestones in the areas they lived have been photographed,kind regards Dean

From Leicester Mercury Reginald passed away on 3rd August and was cremated, Gilroes.  It might be worth contacting the crematorium to see if he is there.

Cyril died before 23 November 1968 (not 1969) as there is a thank you to fiends and family for their kindness recent bereavement. - Leicester Daily Mercury 23 November 1968.

Leslie Joshua Wells died 1 February 1956 his widow Ethel M Wells was executrix of his estate and put a notice in the paper re: claims against his estate.  Dated 4 May 1956 Leicester Daily Mercury.

That notice is from Mr Cyril Wells and family and is for their recent bereavement.  Presumably it relates to his wife Evelyn Gladys Wells mentioned in my earlier post
