Tug boats and their casualties

I'm researching a memorial and have quite a few men who worked on tug boats in WW2.  Most of them are not on the CWGC. 

Are there any sites where I can search for these men?  For instance, I have the death of a man in Dec 1941 and would like to know what caused his death.

Does the Memorial give the name of the Tug the men were crewing?

Unfortunately it doesn't - the men though all have a connection to Wm Cory & Son, who were in the coal trade.

I think these would come under civilian ward dead which are listed on FindMyPast & Ancestry.

Put 'tug' in the location box

Unless you can find a newspaper report you may have to order death certificates to find out the cause of deaths.
