Have just amended first post and deleted Death date and Birth quoted for Mary Malone as found it was not her.
1939 Register in Huyton with Roby and 1930 Marriage is all we have to go with.

The births of the two Higgins/Malone children were registered in 1) West Derby and 2) Liverpool N.
Have you checked the addresses for these births?
The registration district for Huyton with Roby was Prescot.
Do you have Mary’s death?

Mary's first Son Ronald John Higgins 24 December 1932 at Mill Rd Maternity Toxteth to Father William Patrick Higgins a Ship Steward - Birth registered by Mary address 281 West Derby Rd Tuebrook
Oddly 2nd Son Peter Higgins born 27 May 1935 Registered by Father which stated he was William Thomas Higgins not William Patrick and address was then 281 Wesf Derby Rd Tuebrook
Peter died in Warrington in 1963
Mary on 1939 Register in Huyton with Roby as the Head
Ronald's memories before his Death in 2013 was that his Dad William was Lost at Sea but we have no Date could be War Death ? - so Not the William Thomas on Ancestry Tree that everyone has died 1971
Can anyone find Voters for West Derby Rd 1932 to 1939 ?

If I recall, though, I have seen William on those with mother Christine?
1939 has Christine Higgins b 1880 at the same address as your marriage certificate.
1911 would point to William Thomas Higgins b 1905 with mother’s name Forshaw.

William Thomas’ baptism has a birthdate of 6th November 1905

Son William, died 1971, is mentioned on the gravestone of Christina E C Higgins.

Christine and her daughter Caroline Higgins are at 41 Bellgreen Road in 1932. There doesn’t seem to be a list for 1930.
