Looking for any information on Denis Heher who was born around 1840 and died in 1885 in India. He worked for the East India Railways and was married to Annie Downes.

There's a British India Office will of 1852 for a Sergeant Denis Hehar of the 2nd Company 5th Battalion Bengal Artillery. He leaves his property to his brother James Hare, Pensioner, Calcutta.

Thank you everyone for your assistance. Aligns with my thinking that he was likely born in India to James who was on service there. The missing piece would be a birth certificate or baptismal record for Denis but circumstantial evidence would suggest.
