William Hardwidge died 20/09/1874
« on: Friday 09 September 05 17:53 BST (UK) »
My Great Great Grandfather William Hardwidge died 20/09/1874, and I can't find where he is buried.

Most of the other members of my family are buried in Tealaw or Ferndale Cemetery, can any one  give me any guidance.

I live in Hampshire, not local.[/

I found a William HARDWIDGE living in Ely/Fairwater in 1861
If they stayed there then he would not have been buried in Trealaw or Ferndale but Cardiff area.
But I don't know Cardiff area very well.

Hi

In 1871 my William was living at 10 Garth St Eglwysilan Rhydyboithan.

Can you give me the details of the other William please,as I do not have that census information.
If he born in Somerset and is married to Elizabeth born in Somerset then he is the same one.
If not there is another William Hardwidge, which would be very very interesting as Hardwidge is a very rare name. Not many of us around in Wales at that time.

Thanks Clare

Ferndale opened c. 1875, and Trealaw opened c. 1879.
