On his 14 Star it will have 6892 L/Cpl. 4/Middx. Regt.
On his BW & V Medals it will have 615301 Sjt. 2/19 London Regt.

What's your take on it Andy
I've amended post 17. Seems possible that the chap Jim has found is the same man, but why has his six figure Mddsx number (292111) been missed out of the sequence when so many other of his numbers have been included? My understanding is that once the new 6 figure TF number had been issued it would stay with the man as long as he stayed in the same regiment, irrespective of which battalions, regular or TF, he transferred between. In other words after 1917 the only new number he should have had was when he transferred to the London Regt, assuming of course this is the same man as Alamo's original query.  However given that the date of the DCM is comparatively so much earlier than the award of his BW and V medals I can understand how he might have two MICs which are not cross-referenced.

Andy raises the same points that I considered & think that had he not transferred
out of the Mddx. Regt. he would appear there with his new number.
Transferring has created some confusion with his number.
The clerk lists him in the 10/Mddx. & 19/London Regt. indicating 1st. line Btns.
but neither of those were in Egypt & the only 2 that were in 4(b) were the 2nd. line
Btns. ie the 2/10 & 2/19. Looks like the clerk was being economical with the info.

He only has 1 Medal Roll & 1 MIC stating the same.
The other Roll is solely for his DCM.
Apologies if that's what you meant.
It's also probable that the other missing Middx. men from their Roll also transferred out
& appear somewhere else.
Added:
The 2/10 Middx. disbanded in Aug. 1918 & this prompted his move to the 2/19 London Regt.

Thanks Jim1 for that last information it explains why he Transferred to the London Regt and why his British War Medal and Victory Medal would be under that Regt and not the 2/10th Middx and the number of the DCM that the Family assumed it would be under.
Trying to find out if the Family had the DCM Records passed down or whether they found it by Research
Why does that Roll Card state Theatre 4a and 4b  ? for 2/10th Middx dates that should have been Palestine

It's possible he was wounded once maybe twice as there are 2 spells back in the UK.
It was after the 2nd. & longest return that he transferred to the 2/10.
