Alamo, I am assuming you mean the number he enlisted under prior being given a new 6 figure number early 1917.  I can't find anything which links him so I would guess it's a case of ploughing through all the medal rolls for Serjeants in the 2/10th Battalion which, as I don't have an Ancestry subscription, I can't help you with.

Have you seen his DCM citation?

Perhaps it's just me - but what is a Service Medal Card?
Garrad (Suffolk, Essex, Somerset), Crocker (Somerset), Vanstone (Devon, Jersey), Sims (Wiltshire), Bridger (Kent)

I would assume that Alamo2008 means the soldier's Medal Index Card

My usual procedure for searching for any Soldiers Medals on Ancestry is first Find the Main Medal Index Card
As in this Example

Then on Page 3 of 5 of Ancestry Military other Cards find British Service Medals to find the Star Card and British War Medal and Victory Medal Card
