Also check the website for the three adjacent towns of Stevenston, Saltcoats and Ardrossan at

Yes, there are registers of electors for Saltcoats in 1929.

However they are unlikely to be available online, so you will need to get hold of the information offline.

R J Paton's suggestion of contacting https://www.ayrshirearchives.org.uk/ is the best way to go about this. In the unlikely event that they don't have copies of the registers of electors they will be able to tell you who does.
Never trust anything you find online (especially submitted trees and transcriptions on Ancestry, MyHeritage, FindMyPast and other commercial web sites) unless it's an image of an original document - and even then be wary because errors can and do occur.

8 Arthur Street was owned by Andrew Purdon, 11 Whitehill Avenue, Prestwick.

In 1925 Thomas Fisher and James Hollywood were tenants. In 1930 the tenants were James Hollywood, fireman, and Abraham Wales (annual rent £13 for each flat). In 1935 James Hollywood, Abraham Wales and William Young were tenants.
