So in 1861 we are looking at ??;

Richard Heath c 1811 Dursley, Glous
Ann Heath c 1822 Chobham, Surrey
Living in Warwickshire.

1861 image has Richard as age 39 the same age as Ann

ADDED 1871 he is 53, Ann is 50

Whoa!!!

I'm certain that Ann HEATH (nee MUMFORD) was bap in Chobham, 13 May 1821, and that she is unique.
Also, Ann MUMFORD m Richard HEATH in St Pancras on 25 Jan 1841, both of full age.

Therefore, if you have found a Richard HEATH living with an Ann HEATH of Chobham in Warks in 1861 this must be the same couple - is that OK?

I'm confuddled!

I've just done a search on FindMyPast for HEATH baptisms in the whole of England, father's name 'I.....', period 1818-22. There are 22 results, but none for Richard and none in GLS.

Removing the time-frame yields only 3: 1631 CON, 1762 STF and 1835 LON

It does look as if it says Jo Heath, Labr, as father on the marriage.
Pancras was one of those annoying places where they just wrote "Dead" for some in father's occupation column.

Attached.
Very sadly FamilySearch have removed nearly all the available London images from their website, even the camera icons have gone from the films in the catalogue :(
So I can't link to it on there.

Many thanks.

That has to be an abbreviation of 'Jo(hn)', but why is the writing on my copy of the MC so different? There is definitely no 'o' attached to the 'J', and the writing of father's occupation is in a different hand to yours.
Are there 2 records of the marriage?
Anyway, I think we can now eliminate 'Isaac HEATH' from our enquiries, which, in some ways, is a pity because my original query still stands.
Ladies, do you agree?

Thanks again, Jonw.
