Hope you have a succeful time Viktoria , you have worked very hard.

Hope any weddings or celebrations go well despite this heat, unbearable  already,  sat outside to sew a hem and that is enough for me, I am inside for the rest òf ghd day, not like some locally who will be making a racket in their small pool, why do they have to scream and holler

Hope the wedding went well today for Pinetree and it wasn’t too hot!

Viktoria too - hope all the cakes didn’t melt in the heat and you made plenty of money!

Only ventured out for about 30 mins today to collect a parcel …. Temp is 32C here and very 🥵 ,
the poor garden looks parched and the hanging basket’s definitely need to be removed now!
Good job most of the vegs are over… just courgettes, some beetroot and raspberries, which were massive now not!
Looks like cooler weather next week so can start to tidy the garden up.
Crocosmia seeds to take from existing plants and pot on the million foxglove seeds that are overtaking the potting shed!
Always work to be done!

Hope everyone’s surviving this weather… take care and stay cool

Didn't do very much today  I did sit in ghe garden before 10am hemming my granddaughter's  trousers, far to hot to stay out longer than 20 mins or so, I came in, very warm indoors but cooler than outside I hope it does cool down next week.

Yes, thanks for kind wishes sent, another glorious day.
Went to JigSaw festival and took scones clotted cream and raspberry Jam.
Just  went and asked for a job ,preferably not one that took me inside and out where there were some tea tables, as my eyes just do not adjust to different light levels so I washed up from mid day to after five O’Clock .

Nice company in the kitchen ,and some good laughs.
We were going to clear everything tomorrow,so no service but it was managed after the festival had closed .
So all packed up and interesting to see what profit has been made .
We had a card machine ,it is surprising how many people do not have cash.
So that was very convenient ,people bought more than they otherwise might have.
On my way to pick up a bit of shopping ,who should come round the corner with his dog but the man who was rushed to hospital!
I asked he O.K.—- he had been to hospital but a routine check up!
No emergency at all.
I can’t fathom out why I was told that.
I have told many people so must sort it out!
Aaaaaw and the dog is lovely.

Just going to make a cuppa after a late meal of salmon ,new potatoes and chive butter ,green beans and some rocket.

Rugby,England V Argentina, hope Owen Farrell is playing  I love to see him look ,look and look again before he kicks to score.

Hope the wedding was lovely and everyone had a good day.

Cheerio for now, I will let you know  the  result and our Church’s share .
Viktoria.

Viktoria.

Hope you enjoyed the match as much as I did.

Farrell (disappointingly) is currently serving a four-game ban by World Rugby for a dangerous hit on Wales' Taine Basham last month.

Yes, I heard that during the commentary, seems out of character somewhat.

Yes I did enjoy it ,but at one stage it looked like a “ free for  all “ so much pulling and pushing beyond the norm.

It’s the legs!
Great big thigh muscles.  ::)

Wales v Fiji this evening,
So let’s see if Wales have improved on their Six Nations performance.
Whilst Fiji beat England at Twickenham, in the final warm up match.

I only know that from the write up in the T,V.mag.

Cheerio.Viktoria.

Well what an exciting match and a great come back by Fiji!
Some right big lads weren’t there!

The last few seconds!

Most enjoyable.

It certainly was Viktoria.. one of the most exciting games I’ve seen …
I felt so sorry for the Fiji player who couldn’t hang onto the ball and score a try at the end of the game…
Great camaraderie between them and Wales though…so nice to see mutual respect.

Looking fwd to Englands next game too… wonder what they’ll do next…

Good night all… cooler week coming thankfully!

Yes, I really wanted them to manage it !
Not many fouls at all really .

Bright sunny morning so washing in BUT! Now so dark and obviously some heavy rain on its way ,washing  on maidens then.

Still trying to contact all the dog walkers I told about the one in hospital, who was not at all!
Don’t know why the person who told me could get it wrong.
Ah, well ,a nice little dog is still with its owner .

Not meant to be for me was it.
Cheerio.
Viktoria.
