FreeReg --- AGAIN

Tried to use FreeReg this morning, able to enter search criteria but when clicked 'search' all I got was:-

Is it just me or is FreeReg having greater problems than they had earlier this week?

Seems like it is worse than last time.  It just went straight to the message that you got.  Last time it was taking a loooong time to load.

I know in recent months there has been the "Additional possible matches which contain uncertain character formatting" option which you cannot seem to un tick. This is matches where some of the words are illegible. Such as one of the witnesses to a marriage was "James ?". I did wonder if that slowed down the search.

Seems to be working fine at the moment - just used it with wildcards, soundex etc. Speed was fine.

Is it just me or is FreeReg having greater problems than they had earlier this week?

I got that message on and off yesterday, when I was doing quite a lot of work on my tree and made several attempts to use it.

I have also noticed, in recent days, that it has often been very slow and I have had frequent 'timed out' messages.

I thought maybe it was my poor broadband, but evidently not!

Although the site warns of delays, it was working very quickly this morning (10.30) and found several entries for me within seconds
