Yes, correct.   The two Janet BROWNs have been confused.  ;)

I have doubled checked the deaths on the UK Deaths at Sea register, and the Janet BROWN - aged 25 - of Lanarkshire - who was in the single women's section, was definitely NOT amongst the deaths.

I also looked over the "Brother's Pride" passenger list (ex FamilySearch site), and found that there had been a number of instances where the words "Died on Voyage" had ben annotated.
Some of these had been struck through to show they were incorrect.  An example at Image # 15 of the passenger list
-- NICHOLLS, Henry   
   NICHOLLS, Elizabeth - 23   -       Died on Voyage
   NICHOLLS, Benjamin -  3 months  -  Died on Voyage
Only the infant Benjamin died.
