No record on SP of a Kathleen Kearns born 1918 anywhere in Scotland.

There is however a Catherine Kearns, born 1919, Falkirk
That seems quite promising Klouman, Obviously im open to correction regs dates etc.

James born, 1894, Dublin North, father, Andrew Kearnes, Sailor, born Wicklow & mother, Catherine or Kate.

Catherine Kearns was born on 5/2/1919 at 27 Silver Row Falkirk. Birth registered by her mother also named Catherine. Date of marriage (from birth Certificate ) is 3/7/1918 Falkirk.

Mother's maiden name is Lynagh.

 I did notice the Census entries for the family from 1901-1911 and the Naval link most likely explains why Andrew was missing in the 1911 census.
