Great Grandmother Elsie Smith (MS Cumming) Scotland late 19c
« on: Sunday 10 September 23 08:50 BST (UK) »
First, I have separately posted a photo for restoration of Elsie’s husband George Smith and completely forgot to thank jmagarac for size reducing it as well as this one which was remiss of me - his help is very much appreciated.

Turning to this photo - Elsie Cumming my Great Grandmother was born in 1859 in a crofting area on Speyside, Scotland and died in 1945 in Elgin, Morayshire 41 years after George died.

They were married in Grantown on Spey in 1887.

Looking forward to seeing the results.

Thank you in anticipation!

Loord74, thanks a million for such a lovely interpretation of the photo of my Great Grandmother Elsie. It will sit alongside the restoration you did of her husband George’s picture. Very much appreciated.

My try... I don't like to generally introduce much AI, as the tools I have available seem to generate a bit too much detail for me. It can make some incredible renditions, but am not always sure how accurate they can be. Others seem to manage it pretty well, but I am reluctant to accept what I could not envision. Not sure I captured it... found myself painting and airbrushing a lot!
