Smith brothers-Regina
« on: Sunday 10 September 23 15:25 BST (UK) »
I am trying to confirm some info found on a family search tree and wonder if there would be obits for these guys. They were both born in Lebberston, Yorkshire to Joseph Smith and Mary Pickering.
Robert Smith birth registered Jun 1872 Scarborough is shown as dying 23 Jun 1947 Regina
Joseph Smith birth registered Jun 1881 Scarborough is shown as dying 25 Mar 1947 Regina and may have been married.
I have just started to look at this family and have no Canadian info for them if they are in fact my rellies. There may also be an additional brother who ended up in Canada.

Thanks Sandra and yes there was. He was John Welford/Wilfred whose birth was registered Sep 1886 Scarborough. He was the additional brother that I referred to and he evidently died in 1957 North Vancouver. I wonder if he was the Jack referred to in Joseph's obit? Funny that Joseph's obit did not mention wife name or did I misread?
