Tracing the owner of love letters. COMPLETED

A friend has recently found a stack of what appear to be love letters sent in 1954 from Tony (no surname) to a Miss JCP Matthews In Southampton in a junk shop.

Any tips on how we could go about tracing any remaining relatives ?

They were purchased in junk shop so doubt the person is still alive.  Just hoping to possibly find a way of reuniting with any family.
