Leaman/McPherson family Lyttelton and Spotswood
« on: Tuesday 12 September 23 09:09 BST (UK) »
Looking for information on Ida Muriel Leaman, daughter of Maria Jane McPherson and Henry David Leaman. I am granddaughter of Ida's brother Frederick. Maria married Henry David in 1874 in Christchurch, she had a shop in Canterbury St, Lyttelton.  They later farmed at Cheviot.

You might find the following Letters of Administration file (with Will annexed), for Ida Muriel ANGELL, helpful.

[ I haven't as yet read it through it in its entirety.   15 or so ... actually 55 pages. ]

https://ndhadeliver.natlib.govt.nz/delivery/DeliveryManagerServlet?dps_pid=IE65018007

It seems that she had been resident at Rotorua and died there in July on 28 June 1932.

Hello again

Wow !!   The Letters of Administration file in the Estate of Ida Muriel ANGELL (formerly EDWARDS) contains an enormous amount of information which will give you great insight into her life.

The file contains numerous documents -- Marriage certificates (2) for Ida Muriel / her death certificate /  birth certificates for her children / marriage certificate for her eldest daughter ...etc.

The content of the file (55 pages in all) spells out her life's happenings, very clearly ... but should you wish to have further information or explanation, please contact us again here on your thread   ;)
