Would there be a Newspaper death notice in 1920 Lancaster.

I have relation who died in early 1920 in Lancaster, his name was Andrew Maguire, i dont have a sub for newspapers etc but would like to know if they even did obit (death) notices back then and if they did would they have any information about the place of burial ?
Also what would the local newspaper have been called.
Any help greatly appreciated.

The Lancaster Guardian of Saturday 24th January 1920 has this:

MAGUIRE. On the 19th inst., at 38,
Portland-street, Andrew Maguire, aged
48 years.

Andrew was single in 1911 & there is no marriage 1911-1920
