« on: Thursday 14 September 23 15:00 BST (UK) »
hello all
not sure if any one can help me with the 1921 census.
If you can I am looking for a John Yeo on the 1911 census he is living at 93 Kilravock Street, Queen's Park, Harrow Road, Paddington   in the home of  Henrietta Batchelor born 1859 St Pancras .
John was born abt 1910 and is down as a Nurse Child (Nurse) I am trying to find if he is still a round in 1921 as the John I am looking for is in New Zealand by then, he was put in an orphanage abt 1914 I know its not a lot to go on if he is still in the UK I can cross him of my list.
thank you for reading this kind regards Sue

There is an entry for a John Yeo - born St Pancras, aged 11 years and 10 months, both parents dead - address = St Vincent's School, Mill Hill, NW7.

ADDED - Relationship is given as "Inmate".

Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.
Remember - "They'll be found when they want to be found" !!!
If you don't ask the question, you won't get an answer.

Did your John Yeo marry and die in New Zealand. If so do you have his date of birth.

Thank you all for your kind help the John Yeo born in St Pancreas could well be the boy on the 1911 census but sadly if he is still in uk it’s not who I am looking for. So I can cross him off my list .
John went to New Zealand and was put in a home about 1914 at some point his name was changed which is making it even worse.
But thank you all so much for your kind help I really appreciate it
Kind regards Sue

Just in case it's helpful - bit more on the St Pancras John Wm Yeo. Workhouse admission record from around 1917 - deserted by mother Mary.  There's a note at the end I'm having difficulty reading, but can pick out the words "...rescue. 48 Compton St..."

He appears to have been sent to Canada in 1923 by the Catholic Emigration Association

Do you have a year of birth for John? Also an approximate date of emigration to NZ?
Was he sent as an orphan?
