Daniel Booth 1850-1
« on: Sunday 17 September 23 19:23 BST (UK) »
Hi Folks
My 2xGt. Grandfather, Daniel Booth entered Westminster Workhouse in December 1950 because he was ill.  He died 12th January, 1851.  I have tried finding his death on the GRO index to no avail.  I think he either wasn't registered by the workhouse or he was missed off the index.
Can anyone tell me how I could find out if either of the above is right?  How can I obtain a certificate?

Thank you for the information - which I had already found on FindMyPast.
Unfortunately there is no death indicated on the index to enable me to buy a certificate from the GRO website.  I will have to check with the Register Office where it should have been registered but, not knowing London Register Offices I don't know who to approach.
Does anyone know which register Office is responsible for Westminster?
I would be grateful for the information.
