Agree. You need to know where the birth information in reply #5 comes from.

If mother has been identified – then Eva is not with her mother in 1911 census.
How is 1 month old Eva related to the Filburn family in the census?
There are 2 potential fathers there ( George Stanley Richards and Earnest Mordue).
Only other reason I can think of that the baby Eva would be “visiting” – Margaret Filburn was perhaps a wet nurse for her.

Is this a possibility?

Eva in 1911 is living in the household of John Filburn & Margaret nee' Richards who married in 1904.
The census records "No children". Eva recorded as aged 1 month born Northumberland N***

By 1921 John Filburn & Maragret are visitors in the household of a Robert Staig. With them is a daughter EDNA Filburn aged 8y 6m born Newcastle on Tyne/ Northland-Northumberland

There is NO evidence of this Edna's birth from 1911-1921 on GRO indexes, or any Filburn/Richards births.

Was Edna (Eva) the "adopted" daughter of John & Margaret

SS

Added: Edna is not Eva sadly, Edna (Filburn) married John G Winter in 1932 and appears with John & Margaret Filburn in 1939. What is interesting is the address in 1939--

210 Jefferson Street, Newcastle Upon Tyne, Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, Eva born 193, Jefferson St

209 Jefferson Street in 1921 is the brother - George Stanley Richards.

I’m Wondering if Margaret Fitburn George Stanley and Eva’s mother are all siblings?.  I will have a look at birth records for these and see what it brings up.
