John Winterburn - m - Jane ?? about 1795
« on: Monday 18 September 23 12:02 BST (UK) »
Hi all,

Am looking for help for a marriage of John Winterburn (+ variants) to a Jane ?? about 1795 in Berks.
They had at least 6 children all bapt.. in Abingdon St.Helens starting in 1798 to 1807. John was cordwainer.

At the moment I have a similar couple (John & Jane - both lodgers) marrying in Binsey, Oxon in 1788. and have their children mostly baptised in Culham Oxon (from 1789 to 1806).  To  complicate matters John was also a Shoemaker.

It may be they married in Oxon.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Alan

Hi All,

Many thanks for all your help.

I can now rule the couple out of my searching.

(apologises for not replying earlier but am having problems with email as (old) my provider had done away with email messaging service and am in the throws of trying to set up a new address)
