Andrews in Blakely Cemetery
« on: Tuesday 19 September 23 15:25 BST (UK) »
Hi everyone, I wondered if anyone was able to check on a grave for me please? My wife's great Grandparents are buried at Blakely Cemetery. They are recorded as follows:

1961 Burial
James A Andrews Manchester, Lancashire 1961 Jan/Feb/Mar quarter age 67 volume 10E page 554 – Blakely Cemetery

1976 Burial
Elizabeth Ann Andrews Manchester, Lancashire 1976 Jan/Feb/Mar quarter
date of birth given as 8th April 1895 volume 38 page 1476 – Blakely Cemetery

I wondered if there was a gravestone with an inscription.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Luke

Luke, do you mean Blackley?
I can’t see their names here https://www.burialrecords.manchester.gov.uk/GenSearch.aspx

The references you have given relate to their death registrations on freebmd which have no bearing on their respective  burials

To find a grave - you need to provide the grave number & section.  Are they buried together?

Have you contacted the cemetary to establish if there is a headstone?

Not sure if your tree on FHS site but it's a pretty complete tree except for recent stuff, which is hard to find as FreeBMD is glitching horribly. Did find another daughter to add, but there may be more children with so many spaces left between them. Births Mar Q. 1927 - Vera Andrews Manchester N.
There are also 2 marriages to look into in Manchester with that forename .
