I would like any information on Abraham Titterington & Mary Alice Todd. I believe they had a son Sydney Desmond, born, 1922, in Chorlton. Lancs, MMN Todd. Their son died 1st. November 1944. He was with the Royal Australian RAF, and was a Flight Lieutenant.

Abraham and Mary A appear on the 1921 census.  Abraham said to be born in Witherslack, Westmorland, aged 34, a Plasterer. Mary A said to have been born in Raymond Terrace, NSW, aged 29.  There is a son named John Todd Titterington, born in Sydney, aged 5.
Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.

Thank you so much much for this information. I will have to do some searching to see if Abraham Titterington is an ancestor. I see from your information he was born in Westmorland, Not far from where my other ancestors were born.

 Then you mention a John Todd Titterington, born Sydney, age 5.Where does Sydney Desmond fit in?

I'll need to get my thinking head on  :-\

FindMyPast have a passenger list entry in 1930 to Sydney - Jarvis Bay:

Abraham aged 42 - Plasterer
Mary A - 37
Jack - 13 - born Whitefield
Sydney - 8 - born Manchester
Edgar - 5 - born Manchester

Going by the name of 3rd son born 1924 Believe this is his mother's birth in NSW.
