Earned MM Twice

I think the Family and Myself have Read the Findmypast notes incorrectly
The second note about MM to H/A 28/03/19 obviously is not a MM twice
Any idea What H/A is ?

For conspicuous gallantry and devotion to duty in a raid on a hostile position.  His company was in the centre and obtained its objective after silencing machine-gun posts by bombing as they advanced.  One machine gun, however, maintained its fire, whereupon he, with another NCO, attempted to reach it, under heavy fire, and ultimately succeeded in silencing the gun, and killing the whole team of seven men.  His splendid courage and initiative undoubtedly saved severe casualties to his company from an enfilading fire (3.1.18)

My husband's great uncle won the MM and subsequently had a bar to his MM.   As far as I understand this means he won the MM twice.

Correct, one of my great uncles won the MM at the Battle of Cambrai (November 1917) and again in October 1918 but as he already had been awarded the MM the second MM is classed as 'a Bar to the MM'

Thank you, he was an ambulance driver  - his brother also won the MM as a motorbike despatch rider but only the one - we are very proud to have three MM's in the family.
