Cause of Death from 1895
« on: Wednesday 20 September 23 22:28 BST (UK) »
Hi all,

I am struggling to read the cause of death on this death cert of a male ancestor who was a Stevedore and died on 15th December 1895 in London aged 46.

It looks like there are four words/lines followed by the certified by part.

Can anyone help decipher it?

Thank you,

Dani

In case it's not obvious, Phthisis pulmonalis is a single item - tuberculosis of the lungs.

Thank you, Bookbox. I looked it up and quite a nasty way to go, coughing up blood too.
