Jane DONAGUE's brother and sister- in- law were on the same voyage to Australia in 1865
So all travelling together.
It seems, by the original passenger list to US, that William was not with the rest of the family on that trip.
Do you know where and when he married?
Perhaps knowing his movements might help with tracking others of the family including Jane

Hi Sue,
Thanks so much for replying to me, sorry it has taken me to long to get back to you!
William married Louisa Little, according to his death certificate they married about 1864 in England but I haven't found the exact record yet. But you're right he was on the 'Napier' in 1865 with his wife and sister Jane to Australia. I think I might have found William in the 1851 Census as an apprentice to chemist/druggist John Davies Treharne in Carmarthen but he is listed as a labourer when he emigrates in 1865, so not 100% sure it's him, haven't found him in the 1861 Census so not sure about where he was at the time of the 'Eagle' voyage. I'm still looking though so can update if I find him.
Thanks again
