Thanks, Boo.  Meto isn't forecasting any rain until tomorrow afternoon on Tyneside  :)

Thanks, Peter. I'm trying to get used to reading glasses. All my life I've been short sighted and my close vision was AAA*** but suddenly sight has flipped - now long sighted so need reading specs but not distance - age  ::)

Off to garden now  in case Boo tells me off  :D

Hi all.

McGroger (Peter), what wonderful detail, particularly in her face and shawl! Thank you. (I have an old, old, old Shetland wool blanket from this family. I wonder if she spun it & wove it herself before her two boys headed off to Canada.)

Thanks for the cameo Gadget!

Thanks again to one and all. :)

I am stunned by the restorations people have done of Grandma Inkster. I am not a relative or connected in any way but I was really bowled over.  You're all amazing!
